Tribute and Naming Opportunities

Tribute WallYou can celebrate the life of someone you love by honoring them with a memorial plaque or other naming opportunity on the campus of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. Many visitors to the campus have received comfort from the serene and comfortable rooms, the garden views visible from each patient suite, and the beautifully appointed grounds. The grounds and gardens of the Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton campus offers special features that provide tangible ways for friends and family to remember or honor their loved ones. Proceeds from these naming opportunities go toward supporting our mission of providing comfort, compassionate care and supportive grief services to those at end of life.

Many family members and friends return each year at a special time to visit their memorial and reminisce. Here are just a few ways you can honor or memorialize the legacy of a loved one:

Set back behind the pond of on Wilmington Ave stands the Memorial Courtyard. Granite plaques of three different sizes are available for purchase to serve as a tribute of those you have lost. The plaques in this section are also available to feature a military emblem from one of the following branches of service: Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines.

Bronze garden plaques can be placed throughout the campus, or outside a particular patient suite. The plaques, nestled amongst our beautifully landscaped gardens are particularly vibrant in the spring and summer. They serve as a wonderful way to honor a loved one in nature.

The tranquil waterfall is another place where you can pay tribute. We offer wall plaques outside of our Patient Care Suites. These are just a few ways you can find comfort in our campus.
