DESCRIPTION:WHAT: Pathways Breakaway is a grief-focused event designed for children and teens who have experienced the death of a parent or significant loved one. Going through this day-long event in age-specific groups\, children and teens will enjoy grief groups utilizing discussion\, art and games as well as fun activities such as swimming. Lunch and snacks provided. Participants need to bring a swimsuit and towel. \nWHO: Children and teens\, ages 7-17\, who have experienced the death of a parent\, sibling or significant loved one. \nWHEN: Monday\, January 20\, 2020 (Martin Luther King Day) 8 am-5:30 pm \nWHERE: Kettering Recreation Complex\n2900 Glengarry Dr.\nKettering\, OH 45420 \nCOST: There is no cost for this event\, but donations will be accepted.
