Portraits of Hospice is a project started by Hospice of Dayton® to capture the lives of our patients. Photographs have been used historically to capture our rites of passages in this life. From first birthdays and first days of school to graduations, weddings and anniversaries, a picture often holds a memory of a moment in time; a way to hold that experience in a permanent image that can be reflected upon whenever we’d like. Here at Hospice of Dayton® we believe that the hospice experience is just as important as any of the other rites of passage we go through throughout our lives and have set out to permanently capture these moments so that the joy in them can be remembered and shared.
