Physicians: The members of our medical staff are all certified in hospice and palliative care and are available at all times for consultation.

Nursing: Advance Practice, Registered and Licensed Practical nurses all play vital roles in caring for our patients in their homes, in extended care and assisted living facilities, and our Hospice Houses.

Personal Care Specialists: State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) serve as Personal Care Specialists for our patients, and are essential to our Mission of superior care and superior services.

Complimentary Therapies: Massage, Occupational and Music therapies are all available to our patients from licensed and certified professionals.

Allied Health Professionals: Respiratory therapists, dieticians and other specialized medical support personnel are part of our comprehensive approach to patient care.

Pharmacists: Medication needs of patients are directed by pharmacological specialists with expertise in pain and symptom management.

Social Workers: Coordinating care, connecting patients with community resources, and assisting families in coping with the transitions inherent in hospice care, our social workers are champions and advocates for patients and families.

Chaplains: Our chaplains minister to the spiritual needs of patients while fully respecting the individual faith and religious beliefs of patients and families.

Grief Counselors: Our Pathways of Hope grief counseling program is staffed by social workers and licensed grief counselors and provides counseling and support to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one, regardless of whether Hospice of Dayton® patient services were used.

Palliative Care Specialists: Our Palliative Care clinicians help manage pain and symptoms, establish care goals and assist patients and families making difficult treatment decisions.

Mission Support Services: Professionals in human resources, community education, development, communications, volunteer services, finance, accounting, quality assurance, information technology, hospitality services and more are all critical to the delivery of superior care and superior service to our patients and families.
